### **Hello Monero Friends!**
Hi everyone! I’m [Your Name], the “youngest space nerd” on the OPENENET team—yes, I’m 12, but don’t let my age fool you! I’ve been coding since I was 8, and today, I’m here to talk about something way cooler than my math homework: **satellites for Monero!**
### **1. What’s the big idea? (Spoiler: It’s space-themed!)**
Imagine you’re in a place with no Wi-Fi, or worse—your internet gets blocked. How do you send Monero? Our plan: **put Monero nodes in SPACE!**
- We’ll build tiny satellites (about the size of a small suitcase) that float in low Earth orbit.
- These satellites will be like **flying Wi-Fi hotspots for Monero**, using lasers and radios to send transactions around the world—even where the ground internet is broken or blocked.
*(Pause for smile)* Don’t worry, we won’t send them to Mars… yet!
### **2. Why does Monero need space friends?**
Monero is all about freedom, right? But some places censor the internet, and others just don’t have it.
- Satellites work **above the clouds (and above censorship)**. They’ll let people in remote villages, on ships, or in blocked regions use Monero freely.
- Think of it as a **“space backup” for the network**. If one part of the internet goes down, the satellites keep the transactions flowing—like a safety net for your privacy.
### **3. How will we build this? (No rocket science… well, maybe a little!)**
We’ve broken it into **4 fun steps** (even I can understand them!):
1. **Design the Satellite “Toolkit”**: Draw blueprints for the satellite hardware (think抗辐射芯片 like “space armor” for the computer) and form our team (engineers, coders, and me—the proof that you’re never too young to help!).
2. **Teach Satellites to Speak Monero**: Write special software so the satellites can run Monero nodes, and make sure we follow global rules for using radio frequencies (no space traffic jams!).
3. **Test Like Crazy**: Build a prototype, bake it in a “space oven” (thermal vacuum chamber), and see if it survives radiation—like giving the satellite a superhero test!
4. **Launch & Let the Community Take Over**: Start a test network for developers, plan the first launches, and let anyone build their own satellite nodes (yes, you could launch one too—no astronaut license needed!).
### **4. Meet the Team: We’re not a company… we’re a family!**
- **Aerospace Wizards**: Members who’ve worked on real satellites—they know how to keep things from melting in space.
- **Blockchain Builders**: People who’ve coded for Monero before—they’ll make sure the satellite nodes are fast and secure.
- **Me!**: I help with research, translate docs, and remind the team to take breaks (seriously, adults forget to eat sometimes!).
We’re **all volunteers**, not a big company. That means we’re here because we love Monero, not just for money. And yes, I still have a bedtime—don’t tell my mom I’m up this late! 😉
### **Why should you trust us? (Spoiler: We’re open books—er, open satellites!)**
- **Everything’s Open-Source**: You can check our designs on [Gitea](https://git.openenet.cn)—even my messy notes!
- **Transparency Mode On**: We’ll post every step online, like a vlog for space geeks. You can see our budgets, test results, and even argue with us in the comments (constructive arguments only, please!).
- **Collaboration Time!**: Douglas from moneroNodo.com is here—maybe we can team up to connect his ground nodes with our space nodes? Let’s make Monero unstoppable together!
### **Before you ask… yes, I have a space-themed joke!**
Why did the satellite bring a blanket?
*Because it heard space was a bit chilly!*
But seriously—we’re here to answer your questions. Want to know how we’ll make sure the satellites don’t crash? Or why a 12-year-old is talking about this? Fire away! I might need to ask the engineers for help on the hard questions, but I’ll try my best.
Thank you for listening, and let’s build a Monero network that’s out of this world! 🌍→🚀
